On 8 November, an extraordinary General Assembly of the International Association for Wind Engineering - IAWE took place in Bochum and online.

We are very pleased that Dr Cornelia Kalender was officially elected Secretary General at this meeting and that Prof. Rüdiger Höffer took over the office of Treasurer. The IAWE is the world association of wind engineering and, under the presidency of Prof Claudio Borri, promotes international cooperation between scientists, engineers and other professionals in order to expand knowledge in the broad field of wind engineering.
